One Simple Act of Kindness
Each person has a different number of drawbacks that he or she may be facing every day. Drawbacks that exist in work, in school, or at home. Each of us may be needing help to overcome and solve challenges of life.
Good thing, every one of us has this heart of kindness that maybe not being used every time, but we knew at the bottom of our hearts we have this kindness to others that can be practiced. And one simple act of kindness may cause significant changes in anyone’s life. An action that can motivate other people to pursue life and inspire others to pass this simple act of kindness to the one who’s needing more.
Like what I said a while ago, there are these problems that exist in school or related to school. One of these is some of the students arrive on their first day of school without the supplies that they need to learn and succeed in the classroom because their parents may not have enough money to buy these school supplies like pencils, erasers, notebooks, ballpen, rulers, papers, etc. And even the school bag.
This kind of problem gave us the idea to make and initiate an action to provide these said items to students that we knew they need to be efficient and be more motivated at school. We also bought them school backpacks, so they won’t worry on where to place their school supplies.
In this way, we made it easier for the teachers to train students to be educated and succeed from that everything follows. Just like the Bible said, “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” – Proverbs 22:6.
We, at Portal Integrators, believe that we can start on one simple act of kindness like this. For these kids, school is often the only constant in their lives, so we are hoping that by guiding them to school with the tools they need to learn, even on these simple things, they feel more motivated to stay schooling and be successful in the classroom. By having this provided, we can help them to pursue and achieve their dreams and their parents, especially those who struggle to put food on the table and provide their children’s needs, to get rid of the thinking on how they can provide these supplies for school.
