Three Things We Are Enjoying in October
Turtles All the Way Down by John Green
The author of The Fault in Our Stars is once again touching YA readers’ hearts and minds with his latest book. Turtles All the Way Down tells the story of Aza Holmes and her friends and their quest to follow the mystery of a missing man who happened to be a billionaire. Although it is a YA novel, even older adults will be able to see themselves in the characters, especially those who are struggling with their mental health.
Seminar fun activities
The Team enjoyed games like “Pinoy Henyo” and Charades during the seminar Last Oct.13, 2017. Each of us was very competitive during the activities. It made all of us very challenged and frustrated at the same time. It was an unforgettable moment that the team had experienced.
Banana Split
The banana split was one of the things that made up the October of Team Awesome, but it’s not just the typical banana. When everyone has tried “turn” paired with Ice Cream for a snack, we can’t get enough of it, and we can’t resist its unique taste that blends the sweetness of Banana and the Rocky Road and Double Dutch flavor of Ice Cream. It was yummy and made us ask for more.
