How G Suite is Fit for Your Business

by

If you have a business and are still using generic e-mail addresses, such as Gmail or Yahoo, then you might need to think more about this. It is a fact that businesses look more legit, professional, and trustworthy if they have their domain in their e-mail addresses. Are you worried it might be too pricey, though? If this is your concern, then you might want to look into G Suite For Businesses.

G Suite For Business is made by Google, which is a company that most of us trust. It is a bundle which includes everything you would need to work better and connect more with your clients: Gmail for Business, Calendar, Google+, Hangouts, Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, and more. It is all in the Cloud, where almost everything is nowadays, which would make collaboration and sharing with your team and clients much easier, as long as you have an internet connection.

The features are categorized into their purposes: to Connect, to Create, to Access, and to Control. The Connect feature includes the apps which, from the word itself, will help you connect better with your team as well as your regular and potential clients. So for e-mail, they have Gmail for Business which you can customize using your domain, for example, @yourbusinessname.com. It also has a shared Calendar which will help you organize meetings with your clients and prospects. Speaking of meeting, Hangouts will also enable you to meet with your customers wherever you are through video conference.

The Create feature has the apps that will let you produce content: Google Docs, Google Spreadsheets, Google Slides, and more. And you can even work on a single document at the same time with your team, so collaboration is improved, and there would be no need to go back and forth with revisions. You can also do this not just on the laptop or desktop, but also on mobile devices, so you can access documents and collaborate literally whenever and wherever you are. Changes are also auto-saved, so there is no need to worry if you somehow lose your internet connection or if your phone or laptop runs out of battery. You may access these documents and files in the cloud, more specifically in Google Drive, which is part of the Access feature.

As for security, you can control who can access your files, as well as switching on the 2-step login verification and a single sign-on feature through the Admin console. There are many ways you can protect your data in the Admin console, and that is a discussion for another time.
